The price assumes adequate gas supply at your existing water heater and an existing vent through the roof. • Your warranty. Navien's residential warranty covers the heat exchanger for 15 years, parts for 5 years and labor for 1 year. Problems caused by improper installation, venting, gas supply or scale aren't covered, so installing to Navien's specifications protects that coverage.
• Faster answers. Navien Service Specialists work directly with Navien's technical support, which speeds up diagnosis and warranty claims if something ever goes wrong.
• One team, start to finish. The same plumbers who install your unit register the warranty with Navien, descale it and service it.

Not included: upsizing the gas line or changing the roof vent penetration. Some homes need one or both, and we'll price them in writing before any work starts.

Optional add-ons: a NaviCirc recirculation valve, which works with the built-in pump to bring hot water to the tap faster, and whole-home water filtration or softening to protect the unit from scale.

Most tankless installations are finished in one day. Gas line resizing, moving the unit, or retrofitting an older home can run into a second day, and we'll tell you that up front.

Keep It Running: Yearly Descaling
