DeAndre and Michael from Kanga Roof came out to address a leak issue after the recent storms. They were thorough and will have to come back to complete the remediations. As they were finishing up, Michael noticed the smell of gas. They called their sister company, Koala, to get someone to come check it out. Shortly thereafter, I got a text saying that Joe Yandrisovits was arriving at my house. Because I was given a 2 hour service window, I thought they would probably show up at the end of the window. I was shocked. Joe explained his process and got to work. Upon completion, he thoroughly explained his findings, and he even offered membership options for household upkeep offered by Koala Cooling and Plumbing... like flushing of the hot water heater. I felt well informed and satisfied. These guys are awesome!! Prompt, thorough, transparent, professional and friendly.

Isaiah was on time and did a great job servicing my unit. He explained his findings well and was not pushy when it came to recommended solutions. This last part is important because I want an honest AC tech over a salesman to help me with my AC. I have not received this level of honest and transparent communication and options from other AC providers before and will be sure to continue using Koala HVAC in the future.

Olen and Jordan came out to repair a broken sewer line, as well as install 2 replacement toilets. They were both very helpful and knowledgeable. One of the toilets required additional work. They explained the problem and a few different options for the repair. Once we settled on one, they took care of it quickly. Both were happy to answer any questions we had. All in all, we are extremely happy with the service provided and will use Koala for future projects and repairs.

It’s owned by a husband and wife, and they only have a few employees so everything is very personable which we love. Joe has helped us with plumbing issues, and he was great! After the winter storms where so many lost power I called for them to take a look at my system. During the ice storm my outdoor heat exchanger developed too much ice build up for the fan blades to continue spinning. We had to shut off the unit to avoid further damage. After shutting down the exchanger we had to go to emergency heat for 4 days. Once all the snow and ice had melted we called to have them check for any hidden damage. They were out the next morning to check over the system. Michael Corey was very courteous and professional. We did not need any repairs but it was a relief to know we did not have sustained damage.. 2024 update : Amanda N. came out to do our spring/summer tune up. She was on time and did a very thorough inspection. Made some suggestions for replacing our UV system next year, otherwise everything looks great. Koala Kooling has been a great decision for us. 2025 update : Amanda continues to be amazing. After the regular system inspection for the spring/summer it was found that the UV light had gone out. Amanda returned with Luis to replace the unit. The old unit was so old that parts were no longer available.

Koala sent their technician Amanda out for a heating system inspection. She was extremely professional and friendly, walking me through what she was looking at as she inspecting the aging furnace. She was very knowledgeable and gave several options to extend the life of the system as well as to better get air to some rooms far from the unit. Thank you Amanda for the great service experience!

Koala now includes plumbing in addition to HVAC as part of the Koala Klub. This provides spring and fall HVAC inspections and maintenance. The addition is an annual plumbing inspection, plus misc. items including a water heater flush. The plumber who came out for my service was Ethan who was very professional, knowledgeable and explained everything very well. A detailed report is provided with any issues as well as recommendation with no pressure. An excellent value.

AJ Evan and installers did great job

I had Koala out to fix a chronic problem with my tankless hot water heater. Not only did Joe fix the problem, he fixed a shower valve problem, performed annual maintenance, made sure the product registration was up to date, and fixed a valve in my sink as well. Now everything works properly for the first time in years. Great service, great results, and now I've signed up for their annual HVAC/plumbing maintenance plan.

This was our second time using Koala for plumbing issues (unrelated to their first trip) and we couldn’t be more pleased!! Koala immediately followed up with my online request to schedule and were able to accommodate our schedule and get us in within a day, and were even patient enough to communicate with me via email while I was at work. I can’t recommend them enough, truly and honestly. Both of our jobs with them have been outstanding, and I’m genuinely blown away by everyone’s kindness and the quality of their fast, efficient work! I have to admit though, their adorable koala is what first got our attention and they gained a loyal customer for life! I’m still waiting for a koala shirt though!!
